With a bold nod to the Rolex Explorer, RZE brings the 2022 edition of its Resolute model. Compared to the previous Resolute model, this version has received a facelift and upgrade both externally and internally.
The dial is more readable due to the addition of the numerals and wider indexes. This also results in more superluminova lume material making it very readable and legible in the dark.
Under the hood, the Seiko NH35A movement was replaced with a Premium Miyota 90S5 movement resulting in greater accuracy. Due to the limited thickness of this premium movement, the case with its 10.5mm thickness is very comfortable and elegant to wear.
The sapphire crystal together with the Ultrahex coated titanium (8 times harder than 316L steel) ensure that this is a timepiece that can take a beating and stand its ground in any circumstance on land, at sea or in the air.
No shortage of personalization either. This is reflected in the sand-textured dial which is available in various colors including gray, dark green, white, yellow and pink. In addition, there is a choice of titanium or canvas for the watch strap.
The timepiece is currently only available via pre-order at a discounted price of 439 – 539 euros depending on whether you choose a strap or titanium watchband.
After the pre-order round, the retail price of this timepiece will be 50 euros higher.
