You are not used to us reading anything with coverage of car races with contemporary racing cars. We are obviously more fans of their historical forebears but there is still one series for which we want to make an exception: the WEC World Championship, culminating this year in the “century edition” of the Le Mans 24 Hours for prototype and GT cars.

Paris and Rétromobile are, in early February, always a fixture on our calendar. In 2020, just before the big covid outbreak, we experienced another top edition. In 2021, the fair was first postponed and then cancelled. In 2022, there was another postponement to March but was back to being organised after two years.

Mclaren and Rétromobile: they are a fixture at Paris Expo every year. Clockmaker Richard Mille had already surprised us several times in previous years with beautiful Mclaren cars on his equally beautiful stand. Through his direct line with Woking, as sponsor of their F1 team, he managed to get Mclaren to bring part of its collection to Rétromobile. You can read a post from this expo here.
