Rétromobile in Paris again soon!

From 16 to 20 March, we can once again prepare for the most beautiful classic car fair. After a two-year break, Rétromobile will open its doors again at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris.

Pavilions 7.2 and 7.3 will again be packed with high quality material.

Traditionally, French carmakers put their best foot forward. Renault is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its 5 and Citroën is exhibiting some of its prestigious cars, including some distinguished DS models. The museum of the French “Gendarmerie” also brings 11 ex-service vehicles to Paris, ranging from a snowmobile, via a Renault Alpine to a real Alouette helicopter.

Lovers of army tanks will also find something to their liking, both statically and dynamically. The “Musée des Blindés” is exhibiting a Panther tank from the German army and a French AMX 10 Pac 90.  The latter makes regular runs on the parking lot of hall 7.3

In cooperation with the museum of Mulhouse, there is a retrospective “Amedé Gordini”. The Renault 8 Gordini is perhaps the most famous of his designs, but Gordini also made pre-war Le Mans cars and even a genuine Formula 1 car.

The “youngtimers” are also featured. The magazine of the same name presents an exhibition of rally homologation models from the Group A period of the 1980s and 1990s.

In addition, there will be a large number of dealers of both classic cars and racing cars, museums and brand clubs. But also the many stands with parts and accessories will certainly not be lacking.

Auction house Artcurial also organises three auctions during the fair. On offer will be 170 cars and 30 motorbikes. Amongst these, many top pieces such as an ex Fangio Gordini type 18, a Peugeot 908 HDI Le Mans, a collection of Bandini’s or four top Ferrari’s ( F40, F50, Enzo, La Ferrari from one collection ).

Tickets for the fair can be ordered via: www.retromobile.fr A day or weekend in Paris in combination with Rétromobile: definitely worth it! We can only recommend it.
