When we concluded our classic motorsport season at the end of September 2019 with the Six Hours of Spa, we had no idea that it would take two years before we would set foot on Francorchamps ground again. But on 1 October 2021 it finally happened and we could, happy as a little child, enjoy the sound of “old fashioned” V12 and V8 engines from times long gone. Organiser Roadbook had announced the event with the slogan: The sound of history.

19 to Sunday 21 November, InterClassics Brussels pays tribute to the most successful Belgian racing driver of all time: Jacky Ickx. During the sixth edition of the classic car fair in Brussels Expo, the most iconic cars from Ickx’ impressive racing history will be on display, including the Porsche 911 “953” Paris-Dakar and Lotus Cortina. Each car marks an important point in his career. Ickx is known as a multi-talent so the collection covers many racing classes. Formula 1, Le Mans, Paris-Dakar and touring cars are not missing.

While the engines are still roaring at the Goodwood circuit, we are getting ready to visit the Spa Six Hours. Partly due to the corona pandemic, it will be our first major event in a long time.
