You can safely say that the Prewar Days are the Valhalla for the real oldtimer enthusiast. Not that a car that is, say, 35 years old is not an oldtimer.
But you still don’t find the history that the prewar cars exude in the more recent ones.
If you then start looking at the very old ones, driving such a machine is also a bit more complex anyway. Because is your Ford Capri you might not have to control your pre-ignition yourself on your steering wheel.
Within the oldtimer scene, it is a world apart that certainly deserves your attention!
By the way, you will find not only old vehicles but also a mass of memorabilia and documentation.
So if you haven’t got anything planned for next weekend, I suggest you head down to Kortrijk. You won’t regret it. Parking your car is no problem either, as there is plenty of parking space at the Xpo.
Tickets can be ordered via THIS LINK. By presale you save two euros 😉.
