Christopher Ward is proud to introduce its latest masterpiece, the C60 Trident Lumière. This timepiece symbolizes a quest for perfection where light and precision come together. The Trident Lumiere combines pioneering technology with timeless design, where the core lies in the play of light on the contrasting dial with asphalt texture with color gradient from light to dark.
The watch
An ode to the oceans, the Trident Lumière is first and foremost a diving watch. This is made possible by the use of Globolight XP, a luminous ceramic invented by Xenoprint, the producers of Super-LumiNova®. The indexes, hands and applied logo of the C60 Trident Lumière are. , de producenten van Super-LumiNova®.
Also, these indexes, hands and logo are not just coated with Globolight XP material, but are real solid 3D blocks made almost entirely of this revolutionary material. This gives the watch the necessary depth and contrast in addition to its excellent luminescence. This brings the watch to life in the dark, as it were, and ensures that you can easily read your watch at any time and at any depth. So it is not for nothing that it is the most expensive dial Christopher Ward has ever released. There is no shortage of personalization either, as the dial is available in 3 colors: black, orange and blue. The edge of the dial features a uni directional ceramic 120 click diving ring whose indications also feature the Globolight XP material.
The Lumière positions itself as an everyday “Tool” timepiece that performs well in all conditions. Christopher Ward used Titanium as the base material for both the case and watch band. In terms of lightness and durability, nothing comes close to Grade 2 titanium. With the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. Add to that its natural anti-corrosion properties and you have the ideal choice in terms of watch band for the C60 Trident Lumière. Also, the quick adjustment allows you to increase or decrease the watch band by half a link at the push of a button. The strap also features a quick release clasp that allows you to easily change the watch band with another one. In addition to a titanium watch strap, the watch is also equipable with Aquaflex rubber strap in black, orange, black with orange stripes on the outside, blue with orange stripes on the outside.
Besides the top grade Titanium material, we find as inner workings the highly reliable automatic SW300-1 movement by Sellita. This version is COSC-certified and ranks in the top six percent of all Swiss calibers for accuracy (Maximum deviation:-4sec to +6sec per day). It also gives the Lumière a power reserve of 56 hours. The choice of the 1mm thinner SW300 movement instead of the SW200 movement in the other C60 versions ensures that the case height is limited to 10.85mm. This is therefore, for Christopher Ward, their thinnest movement ever. The inner movement with decorated rotor with Christopher Ward logo and inscription can be viewed through the transparent back of the watch case.
Being primarily a diving watch, water poses no problem for this timepiece. So also for your next diving trip this is your new travel companion with a water resistance of 300m. Even if you take a deep dive there is no problem at all. This is because the Lumière is equipped with a helium escape valve for extra safety.
For the climate, the Lumière is also doing its part. In fact, Christopher Ward is donating two percent of sales of the Trident dive collection to the Blue Marine Foundation’s “30×30” mission, which aims to “effectively protect” 30 percent of the world’s oceans by 2030. Something we can only applaud.
It is no accident, that Christopher Ward’s CEO, Mike France, describes the Lumière as a siren, a beacon from the depths of the ocean.

Conclusion
This new model emphasizes not only the craftsmanship and quality you have come to expect from Christopher Ward, but also the innovation and elegance make this watch a real eye-catcher. Time and again Christopher Ward manages to put itself even better on the map with new current models with a very good price-quality ratio. As far as we are concerned, it is even a worthy alternative to the Tudor Pelagos and that for half the price.
